Rhonda Pindell Charles is a lifelong Annapolitan who has served her state and community for her entire career. After graduating from Morgan State University and the University of Maryland School of Law, Charles was an attorney with the Office of the Attorney General for the Maryland Department of Natural Resources. For over 20 years, she served as an assistant states attorney in Baltimore. After retiring in 2004, she became the program coordinator for the Office of Minority Health for the Anne Arundel County Department of Health and is currently a school and community outreach coordinator for the Anne Arundel County public schools.

 

Charles has served on numerous state and county boards and task forces, as well as nonprofit and church boards. As alderman for Ward 3, she focuses on a platform that emphasizes health and public safety, balanced and managed growth and development, education and career development, and civic engagement.
